Cambodia Gambling Halls

There is an interesting background to the Cambodia casinos that reside just across the border from neighboring Thailand, in which gambling hall gambling is prohibited. Eight gambling dens are situated in a relatively tiny area in the city of Poipet in Cambodia. This collection of Cambodia casinos is in an excellent spot, a 3 to 4 hour drive from Bangkok and Macao, the two largest gaming locations in Asia. The initial Cambodia gambling halls opened in Phnom Penh in the mid nineties, but were required to close in the late nineties, leaving just one gambling hall in the capital, the Naga Resort. The Naga, a moored boat gambling hall, highlights one hundred and fifty one armed bandits and sixty gaming tables. The Naga gambling den is open all hours with forty two tables of mini-punto banco, 4 tables of vingt-et-un, 10 of roulette, 2 of Caribbean Stud Poker, and a single table each of Pai-Gow and Tai-Sai.
The 1st gambling hall in Poipet, the Holiday Palace, opened in the late nineties and the Golden Crown before long followed. There are one hundred and fifty slot machine games and five tables at the Golden Crown and one hundred and four slots and sixty eight table games at the Holiday Palace. The Star Vegas Casino is part of an all-around resort and hotel compound that highlights numerous comforts aside from the gambling den, which contains 10,000 square feet of one hundred and thirty slot machine games and 88 gaming tables.
