Gaming supervisors oversee gaming operations and personnel in an assigned area. Circulating among the game tables, they ensure that all stations and games are covered for each shift. Gaming supervisors must have obvious leadership qualities and great communication skills. Despite their educational background, however, almost all supervisors gain experience in other gaming occupations before moving into supervisory positions because an understanding of games and casino operations is important for these staff.
