Do Not Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Play!

If you enjoy having a a beverage every so often, leave your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your purse, your money belt, and leave all money, charge cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Only take only the money you anticipate to spend on beverages, tipping and few dollars you intend to burn and keep the rest behind.

Contemptuous? Not really. Just realistic. You may well have a win after a drunken evening out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to hook a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps game. Keep that story because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you always consume alcohol and bet. These activities just don’t mix.

Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a bit dramatic, but precautionary measures for dramatic actions is necessary. If you wager to succeed, then don’t drink alcohol and play. If you can afford to toss aside your $$$$ nary a concern, then drink all the complimentary booze your stomach can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and checkbooks to throw into the mix of going after losses after your drunk as a skunk self throws away every little thing!

Permit me to take this 1 step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then jump on the internet to wager in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my domicile, but because I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can’t consume alcohol and wager.

Why? Although I don’t drink alcohol a lot, when I drink alcohol, it’s absolutely enough to befuddle my better judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. The two mix up for an awful, and expensive, cocktail.
